Whimsy June Release Sneak Peek day 1 with Stamp Something!

Hi All!!! I just love Whimsy sneak peek weeks!!!! Today I'm giving you a peek at the new ticket set, which I cut out with the die. Also, although it's hard to see there is a little puffy die cut cloud under the big white paper flower!!!! I was so excited to use it, that I totally forgot to add it until the end, so I stuck it there!!! It's popped up so it looks super cute IRL.
Stamp Something's theme is punch it! So between those 2 whimsy dies and my branch punch, I have that theme covered!! Hope you can join us and welcome the 3 newbies as well!!!!

I just love digi weeks at Stamp Something!!!! This time I got to work with a Sassy Cheryl image! Isn't she fun?!? I colored her with Copics then added a bit of sparkle to her tutu with some stickles. I used some new paper that I got at the CKC Scrapbook convention. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps and I cut it out using my Whimsy ticket die.
Finally, I added some ribbon and rhinestones. Hope you can play along this week, there are lots of great prizes up for grabs!

Hello:) I don't know about you, but I always find that Easter has a way of sneaking up on me. One minute I think I'm right on track, the next minute I have 8 cards left to make and less than a week to do so! So here's one I came up with this weekend. It used a new release from MelJen Designs available at Whimsy Stamps. I just love her little trinkets!! The sentiment is Whimsy as well, it is from last year. The papers are Basic Grey, Olivia. I also added a pink satin bow, some wild orchid flowers, a few pearls and some stickles!! I also embossed the pink layer with the swiss dots CB folder. Ok back to my Easter cards!!

It's time for another fabulous sketch at Sunday Sketch and Stamp!! I used this one to make a welcome baby card for my new little nephew! I turned the sketch on its side for this one. The buggy is from SU's buggies and booties. I then masked it and stamped Whimsy Stamp's Life defined on top of it. The papers are SU Parisian Breeze and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps too! I then added a big ol bow and a little diaper pin charm which is tough to see in the photo. Here's a little pic of my nephew with his card:)

Hi Everyone,

It's Stamp Something time and I also have a sneak peek of the new April release from Whimsy Stamps for you!!! New stamps come out Wednesday, April 13th and we'll be having a hop with tons of prizes!!! But for your sneak of sentiments...There are 3 on here from Raindrop Echo's newest set at Whimsy Stamps, party mini seals!! I just love them! They are great to use alone or combine together!
The theme at stamp something is sassy, so I used sassy Madison avenue, if you don't have stamps with sass, that's OK you can still enter will circles!
I colored her with copics, then paper pieced her presents, then added flocking to her coat and finally gave her a little pearl earring. Papers and ribbon are SU, flowers are from wild orchids.

Hello and welcome to a very special blog hop today! hello!!! The SSS site was having technical difficulties, so the challenge is a bit late this week. What a fun sketch!!! I made a card for my brand new niece, Sophia. The carriage is from an old SU set, buggies and booties, which is one of my all time favorites. I then masked the carriage and stamped Life Defined from Whimsy Stamps over it. The ribbon is the seam binding from SU which I crinkled with shimmer spritz. The papers are from MME's girl pack. I also added some distressed glitter to the edges and distressed them with scissors. The flowers are from Wild Orchids.

Hi All!! It's time for another fun sketch at Sunday Sketch and stamp!! I used a new sneak peek image from Whimsy Stamps for my card this fortnight. This is Brooklyn Babe from Kenny K. Super sassy huh? The sentiments are digi's from whimsy as well, created by Ann Vento. The paper is actually ski slope or something like that from SU. I stamped the orange layer lightly with classified ads also from Whimsy. If you don't have classified ads yet, it's on sale for 7.50$ today, an awesome price for such a great background stamp!!!!

Hi all!! Here come the Whimsy Sneak Peeks for the March release!!! YAY!!! And this one is fabulous, tons of new images, sentiments and two new dies!!!!
I used Valerie with kitty from Crissy Armstrong for this one as well as the fancy bench from the last release. The sentiment is brand new too!! It's from Ann Vento! A fun new line of tickets! I cut it out with the ticket die, which if you don't have that yet...get it! What a time saver!
The papers are DCWV from the once upon a time collection. The circle layer has been embossed with my CB. I also used wide striped ribbon from SU with a jumbo grommet. Finally I added some wild orchid flowers, pearls and stickles.

Hi Everyone! This little cutie is one of the newest digi's from Whimsy Stamps!! It's called in the dog house and was designed by Crissy Armstrong. The party hat and presents are also new from Crissy! I colored them all with copics. I used basic grey max and whiskers papers. I also added some fun boyish embellies of buttons and hemp twine.
I used the small balloon shapeology to cut out 3 balloon, 1 of which I embossed. I hand wrote Birthday on the dog house.

Well it's a big month for birthdays around here. Between family birthdays, kids birthdays and the arrival of twin cousins, I feel like everyday is a birthday!!!
This one os for my daughter's friend. She was having a dragon themed party and loves birds. So I used bubble dragon from Dustin Pike. The papers are fine and dandy from My minds eye. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps, birthday letter seals. I also added lots of glitter to glitz it up a bit. There are also some rhinestones, buttons and ribbon.

Hello!!! Well it's digi day on Stamp Something!!!! I got to showcase Phindy's place digis this week and chose to use this little cutie to get a jump start on my Easter cards! Easter may be a little later than usual this year but it always sneaks up on me!!
I colored her with copics and then added some stickles to her bow. I added bunches of spring flowers and used Kioshi papers from basic grey. I also added a little bow. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps, the holiday circle postmark set. Hope you can join us this week, just use a digi and have fun!

Daisy Butterfly

Hi everyone!!! Hope your week is going great so far!! I am waiting patiently for it to warm up and start melting the ice skating rink that is my driveway!!!!
I organized my digi stamps the other day and came across this lovely one from Crissy Armstrong. It is called daisy butterfly and is available at Whimsy Stamps. I masked the butterfly then stamped life defined, also from Whimsy, on top of it. The final stamp is also from whimsy from the postage stamp sentiment set designed by Ann Vento.
The papers are from Stampin Up, bella blue. I also added some wide satin ribbon, flowers and antique brads.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp Birthday!

Hi everyone!! Well old man winter is back dropping a few more inches of snow! Enough is enough old man!
It's time for another challenge at Sunday sketch and stamp though, so that' a great way to beat the snow!
I made this card for my daughter's friend. His party is tomorrow and this is her first school friend party! Big day!
I used gift horse from Crissy's Digis available from Whimsy Stamps. The sentiment is from Whimsy too it's from the birthday letter seals set.
The papers are from Basic grey max and whiskers pack. I used the presents border punch from Martha Stewart along the side. I embellished with some buttons and hemp twine. I made a little lasso and clipped it on as well. Finally, I added just a bit of orange stickles for a hint of sparkle.

Hi everyone! Today is Stamp Something day and the Elisabeth Bell World challenge day. So I combined challenges and made a 2 for 1 card! The challenge at Stamp Something is flowers, so check got that one. Then the EB challenge is a recipe card. So I started by using this WOJ image with cookies, some cupcake paper then added a recipe card to the front. On the inside is a full recipe card awaiting some yummy instructions.

The colors are baja and espresso. The papers are from nook and pantry from Basic grey. Aside from the flowers, I just added a tiny bow for embellishment. The sentiment is from Whimsy stamps.

Two ways to celebrate!

Hi everybody and happy Wednesday!! We are right in the middle of school vacation and having a great time!! A few more play dates and adventures lined up for the rest of the week and hopefully some more stampy time! I created two cards for today using the same awesome sentiment from whimsy stamps, it's from the birthday letter seals created by raindrop echo!

The first card uses Birthday cup mouse from Whimsy Stamps. I used some basic grey papers in bright spring colors!!! Then embellished with lots of stickles, ribbon, buttons, and flowers. I also used my Martha Stewart stars punch. The super cute mouse is colored with copics.

My second card uses Li'l princess tutu from Elisabeth Bell. The paper is also basic grey. I stamped the purple layer with classified ads from Whimsy then embossed it on my CB. I distressed all the edges with a distressing tool then added stickles. I added some adhesive rhinestones and rhinestone brads for lots of sparkle.

Ooooops!!! I have been working in the real world quite a lot in the past two weeks. And I've had very little crafty time :( Finally got a few moments to do some housekeeping on the blog and realized I never changed this from draft to post...

I just adore this image!!! It reminds me of my daughter and her little friend at the beach!!! Too cute!! I went for a vintage feel on this one. Added some bronze/aged stickles along with flowers, pearls, lace and ribbon. I received the paper in a swap so I do not know where it's from, but I love it! The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

Hi There!!! Well I am back after a super fun and much needed vacation!! And just in time to share a sneak peek of some new beauties from Whimsy Stamps!!! It's sentiments and dies day so I did the fabulous birthday wish list from the amazingly talented Ann Vento!!!!

I also had to add this super sassy Kenny K image, Uptown Angel!!! The papers are basic grey and have been distressed. My sewing machine is still on the fritz, or I would have added stitching, but oh well!

I wanted to send big hugs to my friend, a gal I've never met, but who always brightens my day:) I just love this little digi cutie from Elisabeth Bell. I added Whimsy ticket sentiments and the life defined background stamp as well. The papers I received in a swap so I don't know what they are, but they had a vintage feel which reminded me of Annika. Big Hugs to you my dear!!!

Stamping Winter

Hi all!!! we are stamping winter at Stamp Something this week!!! I like winter on paper much better than in my backyard!!! We have over 3 feet of snow out there, with more coming and no days over freezing any time soon!!!!! It does look pretty though!
For my winter card, I used ready, set, duck from Whimsy Stamps. The sentiment is also from Whimsy from the Winter Letter Seals set. I only used one piece of designer paper so I decided to add a ton of embellies. There are stickles, flowers, felt snowflakes, a pin, some pearls, a charm and finally an extra wide piece of grosgrain ribbon. A little bit of everything!!!

Morning all!! Yet another snow day up here. So I just popped in a movie for the kids and decided to get crafty! This card uses the new Meljen image, lovin turtle!! My niece loves turtles, so this image was PERFECT for her for Valentine's Day!! I also wanted the perfect sentiment, so I went with a new one from Raindrop echo. It will be released on February 1st, with Whimsy's February Digi release! So enjoy that sneak peek!!!
I added lots of sparkle, some basic grey papers and SU ribbon.

Elisabeth Bell Monthly Challenge

The Elisabeth Bell monthly challenge is to alter an item. I chose to alter an old mailbox I had lying around from target a few Valentine's ago. I used Martha Stewart Valentine papers to cover the mailbox. I then used red grosgrain ribbon to cover the seams. The image is from Whiff of Joy. I covered the mail flag with lots of ribbon scraps I had lying around. Finally I added some flowers, pearls and a love charm. It was quite easy to make, not as easy to photograph!!! The pink end pops off, so I can fill the box with chocolates or other Valentine candy! I hope you can play along:)

Well it's another snow day here! That's 3 in about a week! We are running out of room for snow that's for sure!! But with the girls excited to play with one another, I get extra crafting time!!!
First I'd like to share my Stamp Something card with you.
We had to create something cute using some adorable sugar nellies given to us by our sponsor, sugar nellies!!!!!!
I chose to use pringle, this adorable little bunny. I paper pieced his present to give him a Valentine gift. All the papers are Martha Stewart, the red layer, I embossed with my CB swirls folder. I added some flowers and pearls along with a piece of extra wide grosgrain. Finally I punched out some branches from my Martha Stewart punch to add to the flowers. Don't forget to share some love with the rest of the team, and play along if you can!

Hi everyone! I have a semi-non-traditional Valentine for you today. I used Little Rapunzel a little cutie from Elisabeth Bell's line of digi's. The papers are sugar rush from Basic Grey. I also added a few wild orchid flowers. The sentiment is a rubber stamp from Whimsy Stamps. I also added some grosgrain and taffeta ribbon and pearls. It was fun to make a Valentine without just using pink and red.

Hi everyone!!!
Here's a fun little Valentine I created for the Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge this week! I used the love you mice from Whimsy Stamps, an oldie but goodie!! I love these little guys! I used some Martha Stewart Valentine paper. The bottom layer I embossed with my CB. Finally I added some flowers, taffeta ribbon and rhinestones!! I rotated the sketch to fit the image a bit better! Have fun with this one!!

That's the challenge of the day on stamp something!!!!!

I stamped this gorgeous new carousel horse from Whimsy Stamps(our sponsor) called Dance of Love by Crissy Armstrong. The sentiment is from Whimsy too it is from the love letter seals set. The papers are from fancy pants. I colored the horse with my copics. Lots of flowers, lace, rhinestones and stickles on this one!!! I also distressed all the edges! Digi Bells DT first Card!!!!

Afternoon!!!!! I am super excited to have been chosen as a digi bell guest designer for the next 2 months!!!!!!

I just adore these images. So here's my first card.....it uses I love you this much digi. The fall grass background is also from Elisabeth Bell and it is available through Whiff of Joy.
The final stamp is the sentiment from Whimsy Stamps. I used some K and Co papers along with lace, pearls flowers and ribbon for this one. I really hope you can join us for the digi bell's hop on Friday the 14th, Details to follow~!

Hi all! I had a chance to play with this adorable, new MelJen image today!!! What a cutie he is!!! I'm on a real sparkle trend lately, so I really glittered this one up! The papers are SEI.
